Battery Health Checklist

Answer Honestly — It Takes 60 Seconds

Check your MacBook's battery stats first — it takes under 2 minutes and you'll need the numbers to answer Questions 1–3.

How to find your battery stats on your Mac
Battery Health Status & Maximum Capacity
Click the Apple menu (top-left corner) → System Settings
Click Battery in the sidebar
Click the ⓘ info icon next to Battery Health
You'll see your Battery Health status and Maximum Capacity %
Cycle Count
Hold ⌥ Option and click the Apple menu
Choose System Information
Under Hardware on the left, click Power
Look for Cycle Count under Battery Information

"Service Recommended", "Replace Soon", or "Replace Now" all count as Yes
