However, major repair such as logicboard repair, SSD replacement that requires more sophisticated repair skill and time, will require more repair time.
Apple Silicon Mac Minis (M1, M2, M4 etc.) have soldered RAM. The ram and the CPU is soldered together with the CPU and it is impossible to dismantle the RAM without damaging it because it is glued very tightly to the logicboard. Dismantling the RAM from the logicboard will means damage to the CPU processor, which defeats the purpose of upgrading the RAM in the first place. Hence, the answer is unfortunately, No.

A few main causes why your Mac Mini Won’t Turn on based on our more than 10 years of the experience is due to:-
- Faulty Power Adaptor : Your Power adaptor has a fuse in side which can be easily replaceable. Try replacing that and in some cases it works.
- SSD Failure : SSD failure causes the Mac Mini to not able to turn on as the macOS could not be detected by the hardware system. The only solution is to bring it to a Mac Mini Repair Shop To Get it Diagnosed.
- Logicboard Failure : One of the most common reason due to current surge which bypasses our charging adaptor causing fuse to burn (Reason 1) and Subsequently, attacking the logicboard. The solution to it is to repair the logicboard and revive it to Good working condition. This way it won’t cost you a lot and you can help to reduce e-Waste by keeping the machine going.
Yes! We do. If your Mac Mini Is Overheating with fan noise, there are a few things that we can do to prevent the Mac Mini from heating up further.:
Replace thermal paste : Thermal paste is the medium between the heat sink and the Processor. Aging thermal (dried up) paste causes inefficiency in passing the heat generated by the CPU to the heat sink and vice versa,. Thus, causing overheating.
Clean dust-clogged vents : Clogged vents prevent hot air being emitted out of the Mini, causing hot air to get stuck within the mac mini, creating an oven effect.
