Why is my iPhone camera shaking or vibrating?
The optical image stabiliser inside the camera is damaged. Apple warns that high-power motorbike vibration can cause it. Once damaged, the camera module needs replacing.
Why can’t my iPhone camera focus?
Either the camera module has failed or the lens glass on top is cracked or hazy. We check which one for free. A lens glass fix costs less.
Why is there a black dot on all my iPhone photos?
Dirt or damage inside the sealed camera, or a burnt sensor pixel. It shows in the same place on every photo and can’t be cleaned out. The camera needs replacing.
Why does my iPhone camera show a purple screen?
The camera sensor has failed, usually after a drop or water. A new camera fixes it.
Why does my iPhone Camera app keep freezing or force quitting?
Update iOS and restart first. If it keeps happening, the camera module is usually failing and needs replacing.
Why does my iPhone camera show “Unknown Part” after replacement?
The camera isn’t a genuine Apple part, or it wasn’t set up with Apple’s system. Cameras we replace show as “Genuine Apple Part”.
Which iPhones get a genuine Apple camera?
iPhone 11 and newer. For iPhone 6 to iPhone XS Max, Apple no longer makes cameras, so we fit a premium-quality camera.
