21.5-inch iMacs from 2009 to 2011 start at RM350. The 21.5-inch 2012 to 2019 is RM950 to RM1,800, the 27-inch 2012 to 2020 is RM1,200 to RM2,200, and the 24-inch M1 to M4 is RM2,200 to RM3,600.

Can a cracked iMac screen be repaired?
It depends on the year. On 2009 to 2011 iMacs the glass is separate and can usually be replaced alone. From 2012 onwards the glass is bonded to the display, so a cracked screen needs a full display replacement.
Why does my iMac screen have vertical lines?
Usually a faulty LCD panel or display cable. On some older iMacs it’s the graphics chip on the logicboard. If the lines show on the Apple logo during startup, it’s hardware, not a macOS problem.
Why is my iMac screen flickering?
The display cable, backlight, panel or graphics chip. If it flickers at the Apple logo too, it’s hardware. Our free check tells you which part.
My iMac screen is black but I can hear it start up. What’s wrong?
Shine a torch close to the screen. A faint picture means the backlight has failed. No picture at all can be the panel or the logicboard. We test both for free.
Is it worth replacing an iMac screen?
Usually, if the rest of the iMac works well. We check the whole machine free and tell you honestly if the repair costs more than the iMac is worth.
How do I know which iMac I have?
Click the Apple menu, then About This Mac. You’ll see the size and year, for example iMac 27-inch, 2019. The model number, such as A1419, is also printed under the stand.
How much is a 24-inch M1, M3 or M4 iMac screen replacement?
RM2,200 to RM3,600, depending on the model.
Will I lose my data?
No. A screen replacement doesn’t touch your storage. If your iMac still has a hard drive, back it up anyway, because old drives fail.
