From RM950
Mac Pro 2009 to 2012 is from RM950, the 2013 cylinder from RM1,300, the 2019 tower and rack from RM1,500, and the 2023 M2 Ultra from RM3,000. Price depends on capacity. Confirmed after a free check.

2019 and 2023 modules are paired
The SSD modules on these Mac Pros are encrypted to the T2 or M2 Ultra chip. After fitting, the Mac Pro is restored with Apple Configurator to pair the new modules. We do that in-house.
Your data comes with you
We copy your system, apps and files to the new SSD before you collect. On the 2019 and 2023 the old modules can’t be read once pairing begins, so we back up first.
Same day on most models
Tower and cylinder upgrades are usually done the same day. The 2019 and 2023 take longer because of the firmware restore.

Mac Pro 2009 to 2012
Four 3.5-inch SATA bays, plus two SATA ports for the optical bays. The simplest upgrade: a 2.5-inch SSD on a sled, or an NVMe card in a PCIe slot for more speed.
Mac Pro 2013
One proprietary PCIe blade. We fit a modern NVMe drive on an adapter after a firmware update so the cylinder boots from it, up to 1TB.
Mac Pro 2019
One or two SSD modules under the heatsink cover, paired to the T2 chip. New modules are fitted in matched pairs and the Mac Pro is restored to pair them. Up to 8TB.
Mac Pro 2023 M2 Ultra
Two SSD modules paired to the M2 Ultra, fitted the same way as the 2019 and restored with Apple Configurator. Up to 8TB.
Why pairing matters
On the 2019 and 2023, the storage controller lives in the T2 or M2 Ultra chip, and the modules are just flash. That is why the modules must be paired, and why the old ones are unreadable afterwards. We back up before we touch them.
Keep the old drive
On the 2009 to 2012 tower we can leave your old drive in a second bay as extra storage or a Time Machine disk.

It can’t find a startup disk. Sometimes the drive has come loose, more often it has failed. We check it, recover what we can, and fit a new SSD.

Yes. On a 2009 to 2012 tower an SSD is the single biggest upgrade: boot in seconds instead of minutes, and every app opens faster.
